Mr. Over/Under:  Under 44.5 in Arizona/Baltimore

Only 5 favorites won in the NFL last week and only 5 games went over. Even though there have been some high scoring games, over 60% of the games have gone under this year. Teams like the Raiders, the Steelers, Atlanta, Minnesota, New Orleans, the Giants and Tampa Bay have only gone over once this year. The Cardinals have only scored a total of 19 points in the last 2-weeks and have averaged only 14-points in the last 4-weeks. They’re home against a Ravens team that has only gone over twice this year. After the Ravens big win last week against Detroit, and having to travel a couple thousand miles to Phoenix, I look for a lower scoring game this week, against an Arizona team that just isn’t paying well. Take the 44.5 under.

Man in Stripes: Jacksonville -2.5 over Steelers

Well we won with the Steelers last week and we go against them this Sunday. Let’s face it the Steelers have been very lucky to be 4-2. Their point differential is -24 and they have been out gained by an average of 70 yards IN THEIR WINS!!! Kenny Pickett has struggled and their offense is ranked 31st. The ball bouncing their way has a way of evening out. The Jags have been flying under the radar all year and they are 5-2 on a four game winning streak. They come off a mini bye by having played last Thursday. Trevor Lawrence has been outstanding and he gets a few extra days rest for his knee. I know going against Mike Tomlin as a home dog is risky but the Jags are for real and laying less than a FG is a gift.

Gavin: UTSA -18.5 over East Carolina

This UTSA team has found their stride. A strong showing the last few seasons has booked them a tough non-conference schedule.  That started them off only 1-3. A banged up quarterback in September didn’t help either. They now find themselves on a three game winning streak and undefeated in AAC play. They’re keeping pace with AAC staples Tulane and SMU. QB Frank Harris is finally healthy and he looks like the quarterback that put this program on the map. He’s a veteran in his 6thseason. He’s got familiarity with the weapons and I expect them to put on a show on their home turf.  ECU has been terrible this year and they are coming off a loss to Charlotte which saw them gain a total of……127 YARDS.  Frank Harris and the Roadrunners should take advantage of a vulnerable program that lost their 4-year starter under center to the NFL this offseason.  The Pirates are terrible and they will struggle to score 10+ points. This Roadrunners team should get into the 40’s. Love the Roadrunners in a blowout.

Brutal: Oregon State -2.5 over Arizona

Oregon State is coming off a bye week. The Beavers are focused as they hold their own destiny for the PAC 12 title game.  Arizona is playing better but they haven’t played the schedule that the Beavers have played.  The Beavers end the year with Washington and Oregon so they need to keep it rolling here. The Beavers only lost one game this year in Washington State. The Beavers are ranked 11thnationally. They have what maybe their best team in the final year of the conference.  The Beavers are great on both lines.  We see them dominating in the trenches and come away with a win on the road.

Philly: Utah +6.5 over Oregon

Huge PAC 12 showdown here between two top 15 teams.  Coach Kyle Whittingham team has been so tough at home over the years. I expect that to continue here. While the Ducks have a top offense I LOVE taking a top defense that is equally as dominant at home and getting points. Utah team is getting healthy and hot at the right time. The one blemish they have was on the road at Oregon State. With the Utes offense getting into a rhythm we will trust them to keep it close in this huge match-up for both.

Bob: Teaser: KC -1 over Denver, Detroit -1.5 over Las Vegas

Let’s not over think it this week and go with a teaser we are confident in. First of all KC just played Denver and they didn’t play their best game. They scored only 19 points. KC left so many points on the field that night and we can’t see them doing that again here. Seems to me that KC has it rolling again and they should destroy an inferior opponent. Denver got a win last week and that helps keep the line down. I think Russell Wilson is done.

Detroit comes back home after an awful performance in Baltimore. Good teams tend to go home and get well against bad opponents. I see a bounce back game here on Monday night vs the Raiders. Jared Goff is a different player at home than on the road in his career. Fantasy players know you play Goff at home and fade him on the road. Raiders are a hot mess. I like the tease here so we just need to win by a field goal, we tease down past all of the crucial numbers.
