Mr. Over/Under: Broncos and Raiders Under 41.5

I suspect many were planning or have bet the Bill’s game under for this week, as there are predictions of a couple feet of snow and strong winds for the Buffalo region. Once it was announced that the game was moving to Detroit, the O/U line went from 41 to 48. Buffalo may be the first team in NFL history to play 2 NFL games within 4-days at the same away stadium.

I’m looking at the AFC West this week. Denver has only gone over once this season, while the Raiders have gone over 6 of 9 games. However, the Raiders have only averaged 18 points at away games and Denver has only allowed an average of 16.5 points per game, the lowest in the NFL. Denver is averaging 14.5 points per game, also the lowest in the NFL. Denver has a good defense and the Raiders just can’t seem to get it together. It’s a division game and it should be close, but I like the under at 41.5.

Man in Stripes: Teaser: Jets +10, Vikings +7.5

All the Vikings do this year is win close games. I’m not totally sold on them this year but I’m not sold on the Cowboys either. I’ll take Cousins/Jefferson and tease it through 3,6 and 7.

The Jets +10 should be a slugfest over the Patriots. Jets defense is playing very well. Pats offense isn’t very good. This is a huge game for the playoffs. I see a 17-13 type of game. Again we tease through all the important numbers.

Stay safe with the snow and LETS STAY HOT!!!!

Mono: Iowa +2.5 over Minnesota

Iowa is on fire they had a big win last weekend over Wisconsin. They are peaking at the right time and playing ball true to their brand. Minnesota has won the last three behind stud running back Muhammad Ibrahim. This is a classic Big 10 matchup. We will not see many points scored. Minnesota is playing with their backup QB and I think that will be the difference. Iowa’s rush defense is giving up less than 90 yards per game. Kirk Ferentz will devise a game plan that will force Minnesota to win through the air. PJ Fleck has yet to beat Iowa since he has been the coach of Minnesota and that trend continues.  Iowa stays hot and wins outright.

Brutal: Grey Cup: Toronto +6.5 over Winnipeg

The 109thGrey Cup that goes back more than 109 years because they didn’t play during the war years. The game will be played in Regina and it will be very cold! These games are traditionally close. Winnipeg is going for their third straight cup. Problem is that their QB Zach Collaros got injured late in the Western Final. He didn’t practice for most of the week. I’ll take the balanced attack of the Argos to keep it close and maybe even get the upset.  The Argos are 8-2 ATS in there last 10 Grey Cups.

Bob:  Teaser: Buffalo Bills -1.5, San Francisco 49ers -2

Here I take two of the best teams in football and all I have to do is win the game. I tease it down both games to under a FG. In the Bills case the game is moved out of Buffalo because of the snow.  That’s a bad thing right? Maybe not. The Bills are the better team. You don’t want to play the better running team in a game where the running game will be the way you have to go.  Play the Browns in a dome where Josh Allen and company can throw the ball around and the Browns are unable to keep up.

The Niners on the other hand are finding their stride. San Francisco has won two straight and now they play a banged up Cardinals team in Mexico City. Kyler Murray isn’t 100 percent nor is his replacement in Colt McCoy. Give me the team with more talent and the team that is much better coached just to win the game.
