Mr. Over/Under: San Francisco -6.5 over Washington

So many games in the NFL this Saturday will be affected by the Winter Storm that has and is sweeping through the country. Under bets could be very popular for the games in Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Baltimore  and Foxborough.  As I write this on Thursday, I recommend waiting until Saturday morning to check the weather at those stadiums before you consider the bet. However as of now, the Saints/Browns game looks like the worst weather. So I’m going to go where the game shouldn’t be affected by the weather, and that’s San Francisco. The 49ers are giving 6.5-points but have won by more than 7-points in their last 6 out of 7 games. Washington just doesn’t seem to have the fire power to stay in this games, as they’re taking on the #1 defense in the NFL. I like San Fran -6.5.

Man in Stripes: Steelers ML -135 over Las Vegas

I had four other games I was looking at this weekend but then came the sad news of the passing of Franco Harris. This passing comes two days shy of the 50thAnniversary of the Immaculate Reception. This was one of the greatest controversial games in NFL history. A celebration just turned somber. Certain spots come down to situational handicapping.  This is one of them. Vegas had their lucky win of the decade last week. Now they fly across country in bad weather. NO WAY PITTSBURGH LOSES PLAYING FOR #32. Merry Christmas and stay safe this weekend!!!!!!

Mono: Lions -2.5 over Carolina

Detroit is on fire winning six of their last seven with their only loss coming against the Bills on Thanksgiving. This team really can’t stop anyone but they can score a lot of points. Carolina comes in off of a loss to the Steelers. They have played better since Ruhle left but they still aren’t a good team. Detroit has a serious angle to get into the playoffs and they can’t afford a slip up. Dan Campbell gets his guys up for this one, as the Lions stay hot.

Brutal:Middle Tennessee +7 over San Diego State

Finally Middle Tennessee gets to play a bowl game in Hawaii.  Last year they were waiting to play when it got cancelled.  So this year they should be focused on playing the game. Middle Tennessee has the better defensive line that should limit the Aztecs running game.  The weakness for MTSU is their secondary but I don’t think San Diego State can take advantage because they throw for only 170 yards per game. MTSU has a big play defense that causes a lot of turnovers. This game should be close so I love getting a touchdown.

Bob:  Dallas -4.5 over Philadelphia

Jalen Hurts out for Philadelphia in a game that the Eagles really don’t need.  The Cowboys on the other hand have to make a statement in this game.  They blew a big lead last week in Jacksonville and lost in overtime. Dallas comes in with a chip on their shoulder with something to prove. I like to Cowboys to bounce back with a strong performance at home.
