Mr. Over/Under:  Saints +2.5 over Tampa Bay

So what did we learn from week one in the NFL? Aaron Rogers misses Davante Adams. Justin Jefferson could be the first wide receiver EVER to win MVP. It can rain a lot in Chicago. Dallas will not win their division and don’t count the Chiefs out. Week 2 is considered “revenge” week in the NFL. Teams like San Fran, Green Bay, the Rams, Cincinnati, Denver, Las Vegas & Indy are expected win after week 1 loses. Tampa is favored at New Orleans this week, even though they’ve lost the last 4 games these teams have played against each other. The last 2-years the Bucs have only averaged 13.3 points against the Saints, while averaging 32.3 points against all others. The Saints are getting 2.5 points. I expect a close game, and like getting the points.

Man in Stripes: 6 Point teaser Nebraska +17.5 and UTSA +17.5

New theory this week sees the light of day.  The new coach theory. Scott Frost era was a disaster in Lincoln. Losing to Georgia Southern last week was the last nail in the coffin. Mickey Joseph takes over and look for the Huskers to play hard and wipe away the last five years. Nebraska went 5-22 in one score games under Frost. New attitude look for the home dogs to keep close against their old rival.

Next we have the perfect situational spot with the Road Runners playing an in state rival in Texas. Longhorns played Alabama to the wire last week. This is a perfect letdown spot for Texas. They lost their starting QB in Quinn Ewers, their back-up is banged up and they might have to go with a 3rd stringer. UTSA can score and this game means more to them then it does to Texas. In both games we tease to get over 17 points. Goos Luck!!

Mono: Saints +2.5 over Tampa Bay Double Down

This is the perfect spot for Jameis and the Saints to get the Bucs.  It looks like neither Chris Godwin or Mike Evans will play or if they do they won’t be 100 percent. Leonard Fournette is dealing with an issue as well. This Bucs offense is banged up and the Saints get a chance to steal another divisional win. Expect the Saints good defense to feast and Jameis and company do just enough to get the win.

Brutal: Cal +11 over Notre Dame

Should Notre Dame be giving anyone double digits at this point?  This one has defensive struggle written all over it. The odds makers have the over under at 40. Cal scores 14 points and I should win. Cal has a very good defense under coach Justin Wilcox. Notre Dame offense has gone no where in two games.  Cal is pumped for this one since they haven’t played Notre Dame in 55 years.

Bob: San Francisco -8.5 over Seattle

In the stock market we talk about buy low and sell high.  Here is a perfect example for both teams.  You can’t get much lower than the Niners losing to Chicago.  The field conditions were behind horrible.  Don’t think this is a reflection of who they are.  Trey Lance will play much better at home this week.  The Seahawks were playing a holy war last week with Russell Wilson coming into town.  The Broncos fumbled twice at the one-yard line.  Denver only scored six points in six red zone trips.  Let’s not even get into the playing for a 64-yard field goal.  Bottom line is this line should be double-digits at least.
